bend racing's family adventure race 2023
race overview
What better way to spend the afternoon with your family than adventuring by bike and foot in the woods! This might be a short “kid distance” event, but it won’t be short on adventure. It’ll just be tailored to giving your kids a great low pressure race experience. Some of the checkpoints will be “geo-cache” style, where every youth racer will collect treasures/toys/treats as part of the course. There will be several “opt out” points where teams with littler ones can shorten each leg to stay within the “emotional fun-zone” and avoid a full-fledged meltdown. All-kid teams will be allowed for children over 12 with at least one teammate 14 or older. (Parent signature etc required).
Our 2022 demo race was a huge hit, and we are thrilled to be offering this addition to our race calendar.
Race will be a friendly-competitive event, with no official ranking or divisions. We will equally distribute all sponsor prizes.

At Visit Bend, sustainability is based on three pillars: economic, environmental, and social. Our community is dependent on all three, and it is important to find a balance between them. To have a thriving, sustainable community for residents and visitors alike, it is important that we take into consideration all three pillars.
Since the inception of the Bend Sustainability Fund in 2021, $2,290,000 has been awarded to 17 projects.
