The Spring Sting TEC is BACK!  This rugged, technical, and beautiful race has been a staple of Central Oregon racers for nearly ten years.  No paddling - so don’t worry about getting cold!  Besides, we promise you’ll be sweating on some of the uphills!  One of the most stunning “short” races in the world - the terrain you’ll be playing on is 100% spectacular ALL the time. Suitable for all levels with basic MTB and off-trail trekking skills.

Location: Crooked River National Grasslands (Smith Rock area)

Affiliation: USARA ranking race

Disciplines with difficulty ratings:

MTB: 5/10

Trek: 7/10

Ropes: 4/10

Paddle: NA

Navigation: 4/10

Endurance: 5/10

Estimated time for winners: 4.5 hours

Course Open: 8 hours

Team Format: Teams of 1,2, 3, 4 person; 3 or 4 person co-ed is premiere category for USARA rankings

Prizes: Sponsor gear

Rules: TBA

Mandatory Equipment: Standard.  No paddle gear or headlamps required.

Entry Fee: $75pp (includes maps, racer swag, post race food and an AMAZING course!)
